Urban Community Cohort at UOttawa ft. Linda Radford
Linda Radford is co-lead of the Urban Education Cohort at the Faculty of Education, where she teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses. Her research interests include curriculum policy and renewal, digital pedagogies that foster self-reflexive reading practices, the empowerment of marginalized youth through engaging literacies in critical ways and education for youth in urban high needs settings.
Linda joins me today to discuss the Urban Community Cohort, how it is different than other teacher education options and how it nurtures a different perspective among teacher candidates enrolled in the cohort.
