Today we head to Toronto to visit with Melanie Florence, a YA author who is, herself, steeped in both Cree and Scottish heritage. In much of her work, Melanie that has shone a light into some of the shadow side of indigenous stories, drawing attention to aspects of those stories that we still need to hear.
