Hess has served in a variety of roles since he was hired by the district in 1993, including executive director of instruction, technology, and assessment, director of technology and data analysis, middle school principal, assistant principal, middle school teacher, and elementary teacher. Hess is passionate about student learning and engagement through instructional innovation, and remains steadfast in the belief that all children can be successful.
