Kiera Brant-Birioukov is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at York University. Her scholarly interests include Haudenosaunee Thought, Indigenous Curriculum Theory, Reconciliatory Pedagogies and Indigenous Language Revitalization.

Kiera successfully defended her doctoral thesis in January 2022: Kanenhstóhare- THe Educative Implications of Estrangement, Homecoming, and Indigeneity.
