David is a game designer high school teacher who guides at risk students to design games for Social Change. Designing for problem solving and critical thinking with the focus on a growth mindset. From a troubled point of view to a successful point of view creating a culture of trust and the risk of investing in the unknown. Social emotions are successful in getting to understand the social-emotional learning through rust empathy from the students.
David connects the students through personal challenges with authentic end users for feedback with game designers. Game design needs to be cross-disciplinary allowing the student to teach the teacher of turning the content into a game.
