Anti-Black Racism: The Student Voice – A Conversation with Emmanuel Adegboyega

Conversations and Keynotes from the 2019 CPCO Conference held in Toronto on November 21-22. The theme for this year's conference, Compassion: Leading with Heart, attracted over 200 Catholic school leaders from across Ontario.

In this episode, the Support Services Team speaks with Emmanuel Adegboyega, a graduate of the Toronto Catholic District School Board who is currently a student/athlete at Simon Fraser University majoring in Criminal Law and Politics. He is also a recipient of the Lincoln Alexander Award which is awarded to young leaders to recognize their commitment to anti-racism and equity in their communities. Emmanuel shares his perspective and experiences on racism and his perspectives provide valuable insights for others (students and adults) to learn from and incorporate into their lives and communities.
