I am revved to join this educator collective; looking always to the horizon of innovative teaching practices, and the future of education in Canada and beyond.  I come at this endeavor from a somewhat green, yet extremely eager perspective: that of a new teacher.  As an almost-grad of Brock University’s Faculty of Education in the Educational Technology Leadership cohort, it is my mission to integrate innovative teaching practices and technology to enhance the student learning experience.   What a great opportunity it is to share my learning with VoicEd! I recently left a career in qualitative market research to follow my passion, education.  My undergraduate degree in Equity Studies from University of Toronto informs my love of technology for its unparalleled ability to level the playing field for all learners.

I am both a new mom and a new teacher candidate. I have just finished my Bachelor of Education Degree (Primary/Junior) and am part of the first graduating class of the Educational Technology Leadership cohort at Brock University. I enjoy learning about new teaching practices that integrate technology (attempts, successes, and even failures) to engage and support student achievement in the 21st century. I am passionate about sharing knowledge, resources, reflections and promising practices with fellow educators.
