This is such a great idea. Bringing Canadian Educators together with a common purpose to share promising practices that move student learning forward. I’ve seen several decades of change in Ontario education. Some things have come and gone, other things have cycled back with a refreshed look and a new name. In that time I’ve taught all elementary grades from K through 8. Yes, real men teach Kindergarten. In that time what has made the most sense is teaching through student inquiry. Facilitating a constructivist learning portal long before it became fashionable. Hopefully this gathering of voices will help us all move forward and allow us to invite lots of our colleagues along the way in our journey.
