Hello voicEd.ca! I am happy to be here and look forward to collaborating with educators across Canada. I am a new elementary school teacher (less than 2 years experience) in rural Manitoba. I am incredibly passionate about quality education and believe that good education must be current, engaging and designed with your learners in mind. I use the Internet (blogs, twitter etc) as daily professional development and feel that essential information and resources are being shared every second from incredibly talented educators. I look forward to working with the other authors of voicEd.ca to discuss current educational topics and provide perspective for educators across Canada.

Hi Susan. Welcome to the project, and the “space”. I’m thinking that as someone just beginning in the field–and being in rural Manitoba, “in the field” may take on more than one meaning–your insights will be very valuable, not only for the educators that are part of this conversation, but for others: parents, community members, and students.
Looking forward to beginning the conversations!
